In this two day workshop, students will be develop a dyptich with a strategy Rebecca calls “Back from Black”. The focus will be on compositional design, value, and use of a limited color palette. Black acrylic gesso, collage, watermedia and optional metal leaf will be our materials.

Rebecca is an award winning professional artist, and a member in excellence of the South Carolina Watermedia Association. She lives and works in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She teaches weekly classes in her studio in Myrtle Beach and leads international annual Eat, Paint, Cook Tours. Her work is adventurous, and her methods and materials are varied.
