Once the registration deadline passes, the work is considered committed to the gallery show. If the artist wants to sell the work directly before the the show is hung, they may summit a replacement piece, but the 30% commission of the stated price of the sold piece is due to the gallery. If a work is sold after the show is hung, another work of similar size may be presented to be juried for possible replacement during the show.
Artists will be offered a time range (morning or afternoon) on drop off day. If you cannot keep your appointment you may send a proxy in your place upon agreement with the show organizers.
The artist is committed to the sale price listed in the initial registration process. A 30% commission will be taken on ALL sales.
After the published deadline of the submission process, (1/3/22) artwork is considered committed to the show. Artists are expected to pay the 30% commission if an accepted piece sells before the show is hung. The sold piece may be replaced with another artwork, following approval of the alternative image by the jury committee. After the show is hung, sold work can also be replaced with jury approval of another image if desired by the artist. Sales tax will be collected and paid by Gallery Citrine
