Still Life Art Show Prospectus:
Entry Terms and Conditions
All artwork must be for sale – no commission pieces
Artist must be the sole owner of the artwork exhibited
Images of individual artwork submitted & accepted into the show may be used to promote this show and Gallery Citrine until March 30, 2023 on social/print media with credit to the individual artist(s)
Photography of artwork exhibition/installation as a whole, or in part, may be used by all media during the show and in the future for marketing purposes with or without id of the artists.
Packing and shipping charges, insurance costs, other handling expenses and risks of loss or damage incurred during this exhibit at Gallery Citrine shall be sole responsibility of the artist. Return of art from Gallery to artist shall be sole responsibility of artist.
Upon completing registration, and submitting $30 registration payment, the artist agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this prospectus.
After completing Registration Form the artist will provide high quality images of submitted pieces by email submission to images.gallerycitrine@gmail.com – please be sure images do NOT include frames or background on 2-D submissions. 3-D artists may submit up to 2 views of each submitted piece, limiting distracting backgrounds in the submission images.
Eligibility of Artwork
Artwork must be the original creation of the artist(s). Artwork may be collaborative, but each person involved in conception, composition and implementation must be identified as such.
No kits or copies will be accepted. No giclee reproductions, etc.
All artwork must be durable enough for manageable relocation.
Preference given to new and previously un-exhibited work. All submitted work should have been completed in the past two years.
All details of hanging and professional preparation must be followed or work will be refused.
Rules
Up to 3 images may be submitted at registration, no more than 2 pieces will be selected during the first jury process. This applies to both 2- D and 3-D categories.
Artists can not hang/place/move any exhibited artwork
Artwork not ready for display will be refused/removed & returned
Gallery Citrine Jury Board has the final say in selection – no exceptions
Once the registration deadline passes, the work is considered committed to the gallery show. If the artist wants to sell the work directly before the the show is hung, they may summit a replacement piece, but the 30% commission of the stated price of the sold piece is due to the gallery. If a work is sold after the show is hung, another work of similar size may be presented to be juried for possible replacement during the show.
Artists will make an appointment for drop off and pick up of pieces to avoid waiting in lines. If you can not keep your appointment you may send a proxy in your place upon agreement with the show organizers.
Sales
The artist is committed to the sale price listed in the initial registration process.
A 30% commission will be taken on ALL sales –
After the published deadline of the submission process,artwork is considered committed to the show. Artists are expected to pay the 30% commission if an accepted piece sells before the show is hung. The sold piece may be replaced with another artwork, following approval of the alternative image by the jury committee. After the show is hung, sold work can also be replaced with jury approval of another image if desired by the artist. Sales tax will be collected and paid by Gallery Citrine

Hanging |
NO sawtooth hangers will be accepted. Must be professionally mounted and SECURELY WIRED. Be sure your artwork does not allow your picture to lean outward or to be visible when the work is hung. |
Identification |
Each piece must have a artist generated label firmly attached to the BACK UPPER Right corner – this label must clearly state: Artist Name/Title of Artwork/Medium/Price/Size The gallery will produce another label which will be visible during the show and this gallery generated label will be attached at the time of hanging. |
Gallery Citrine reserves the right to refuse previously accepted artwork at your drop off appointment, if upon gallery staff inspection, it does not meet the stated detail requirements.

All artwork must be able to be displayed on a pedestal. It cannot exceed 12″ in diameter. Sculptures of five feet or taller that stand safely on the floor and do not exceed the weight limit will be considered. |

Professional Presentation |
Top heavy or unstable work will not be accepted. 3D work with a top or lid or separate pieces must have the separate pieces secured and labeled. Freestanding sculptures requiring special mounting or suspension will not be accepted. No illuminated pieces that require electrical connections will be accepted. |

Each piece must have a label with artist’s name, title of artwork, medium, and price affixed to the bottom. |
