If Gallery Citrine finds it necessary to cancel a class or workshop due to under-enrollment or an emergency, registered students will be notified via e-mail and full tuition (or deposit as applicable) will be refunded. If weather or other conditions require closure of Gallery Citrine, for 49% or less of the scheduled time of a program, rescheduled make up time will be offered, dependent on the instructor’s availability. If the closure is for 50% or greater of the time of the scheduled program, Gallery Citrine reserves the right to cancel the remainder of the program if necessary, and a pro-rated refund may be made to the student if this type of cancellation takes place. Only for programs with registration cost of $200 or less, the student can cancel up to 7 days in advance and will receive a refund of tuition minus a $20 administration fee. Written (email) notice is required and cancellation must be made by midnight of the 7th day before the start date. After this 7 day time period any monies paid can not be refunded, unless there is a waiting list for the program. * See waiting list policy below. For programs with registration cost of more than $200, there may be options to provide a deposit to hold a space until a specific deadline when further payment will be required to complete registration. If the student decides to cancel before the specific deadline, then the deposit will be refunded minus a $20 administration fee. If the specific deadline for final payment is past, then refunds of any monies paid (deposits + final payments) are only made if a waiting list makes it possible to fill the space. This specific deadline will be identified on registration materials, and may vary depending on the requirements of the individual instructors and Gallery Citrine. *Classes with a waiting list must be filled by use of the waiting list, and transfers of fees to friends are allowed only if there is not a waiting list for the class. Refunds to students who withdraw from a class with a waiting list will still be subject to the $20 administration fee. If a student finds their own replacement and transfers fees between themselves, an administration fee will not be charged. If a program is oversubscribed when a student wishes to registers, the student will be given the option to waitlist at no charge, and. will be notified if and when space becomes available. Students then have the option to enroll for 48 hours after this email notification is sent; if the student does not enroll with payment within 48 hours, then the space will be offered to the next person on the waitlist. The student is responsible for ensuring wait list/registration materials provided to Gallery Citrine contain an accurate and current email address, and for updating this information if necessary between registration and class dates. Gallery Citrine acknowledges enrollment in some advanced and lengthy workshops represents a significant financial investment. If out of town travel is involved, other costs can increase. We advise all students to consider vacation type insurance to avoid disappointment and financial loss caused by illness of themselves or family members, accidents or circumstances out of their control. We must apply our cancellation policy consistently in order for everyone involved to receive fair treatment.
